• Universal 12 channel and 16 channel computer-controlled LED drivers with 5mA current resolution

    The 12 channel and 16 channel computer-controlled universal LED drivers of Gewu Optics are designed to drive various LED light sources. Each unit is equipped with powerful PC software and user-friendly GUI, allowing users to drive LEDs without writing any code. In addition, a fully functional SDK is provided for users to write their own software and integrate Goptica's LED drivers into their own systems. In addition, the driver has a built-in protection function that allows users to limit the LED driving current and voltage.

    Each channel can be individually configured to operate in one of the following two modes:

    Normal mode (or DC mode): The output current is constant and can be adjusted from 0 mA to 1000 mA through a USB interface (using software);

    Strobe mode: Channel output pulse width modulation (PWM) periodic strobe mode, which can be turned on through software triggers. The strobe mode can last indefinitely or for a preset number of cycles. The frequency of PWM flicker can reach up to 500Hz.

    In addition, each channel can be individually disabled or enabled. The disabled channel will not output any voltage or current.

    1. The maximum output voltage is 3V lower than the input voltage of the power supply. For example, if the input voltage of the power supply is Vdc=24V, the maximum output voltage Vmax is Vdc-3V=21V;

    2. If the channel output voltage is Vd and the output current is Id, then they must both satisfy:(1)Vd <= Vmax ;(2)Id <= Imax;(3)Vd * Id <= Pmax

    3. Each cycle of PWM square wave consists of two (2) "steps": on time and off time. The minimum value for each step is 1000 μ s, and the minimum increment is 100 μ s;

    4. Appropriate heat dissipation should be provided for the LED controller in the customer's system to prevent overheating and self protective shutdown of the LED controller. In addition, the total output current of all channels should not exceed the capacity of the power adapter.
