There are multiple LED wavelengths to choose from, ranging from 365nm to 940nm, with white color. The selected LED is installed in the light source chassis in the factory. Fiber optic coupling is performed through standard SMA ports, so customers can use different fibers with LED light sources according to their specific application requirements. SMA connector fiber jumpers have various core diameters and numerical apertures. The 4-channel light source includes a 5-foot cable, and the 8-channel light source includes two such cables. Each cable has an 8-pin locking connector at one end that can be plugged into a light source, and four pairs of bare wire terminals at the other end. Each pair of terminals should be connected to a separate channel of the LED controller. Users can use Mightex multi-channel LED controllers or other constant current sources to drive installed LEDs individually or simultaneously. The light source is equipped with a cooling fan with a built-in heat sink. When two or more wavelengths are operating at full power, the fan should be turned on to maintain the low temperature of the LED junction to prevent damage to the LED due to overheating. Contains a separate power source to drive the cooling fan. The Goptica 4-channel multi wavelength light source can be ordered with 2 and 4 wavelengths, while the 8-channel light source can be ordered with 6 and 8 wavelengths. In standard configuration (8-channel light source not supported due to low efficiency), the output power of each wavelength decreases with the increase of the total number of wavelengths, while in high-power configuration, the output power does not change significantly with the number of wavelengths.

Important note: (1) LEDs can only be driven by a constant current source and cannot be driven by a voltage source (such as a battery or AC/DC power supply); (2) Before applying current to the LED, be sure to verify the rated current of the LED and always ensure that no current exceeding the rated current of the LED is applied. |
